I've tried to run SolidWorks on my M1 MacBook Pro. I managed to install it in a Parallels VM with ARM for windows. I've managed to go so far as installing SolidWorks successfully, though installing eDrawings and everything after it causes problems. The normal SolidWorks software loads. Administrative Image. To locate the eDrawings.msi file: On a CAD disk, browse to the file. With an eDrawings executable file from the SOLIDWORKS website, right-click the executable file and extract the contents (including the eDrawings.msi file) to a folder. An administrative image is used as a central location to install the eDrawings software.
